Re: Medical Leave
I have a scenario of staff who has been granted with 53 days of Medical Leave by Medical Authority.
Our Employee Handbook says that "any confirmed employee found to be suffering from prolonged illness or injury which forces the employee to exhaust all earned annual leave, and medical leave may be granted medical prolonged illness leave".
In order for us to approved and put him under prolonged illness, we have to contrast his medical leave given by Medical Authority to exhaust his earned annual leave & medical leave.
Is it fair for him if we count Saturday & Sunday to be contract with his earned annual leave & medical leave?
