by the way, may I know if resignation letter via EMAIL is considered written notice,or must print out the letter and hand in to boss, then is considered proper resignation? (shall there be any argument in court)
I think better find out first sender whether the email is really sent by the employee concerned. Was it an immediate resignation or proper notice like one month or 3 months notice etc?.
