Re: Short Notice during Probation

our company has a few staffs resigned without serving notice, 2 left after working for 2 days ,didint tender resignation (no sms or email or letter) , just missing in action and refused to pick up calls. both suppose to serve 2 weeks notice as stated in the agreement.

May i know whether that company still need to pay them the 2 days salary and contribute the EPF , or can i just deduct from the short notice without paying them anything (7 days short notice - 2 days of working, suppose staff should pay to company)

Thanks for the reply. How about EPF? is it a must to submit EPF in regardless the number of days of work?

Give a call to EPF and talk to the officer there.
