Re: OVER Probation period for termination

my staff come in 2 jan with 3 months probation. During the probation period,either party can give 24 hrs notice. However, we terminate him after 1 week after 3 mths probation. Letter of confirmation not given. Can we still give him 24 hr notice?

That was what you have said, 3 months probation, isn't it? Consult the Labour Office for an official opinion.
