Re: Salary calculation for resigning staff

Hi Mr Siew.
A staff tendered his resignation on 5th March. He wants to leave by the 29th March.
Since that the notice is not one month nor 4 weeks, shall I calculate the pay for until 29th or 31th March.
When a staff's last day is on a Friday, shall he be paid for that Saturday and Sunday too or until Friday itself?

She actually wanted to leave on 11th which is a week's notice only. But our appointment letter stated 1 month. My manager said can release by 29th.

Since she is monthly rated, Saturday, Sunday should be paid.
