Hi Mr Siew,

Company Appointment Letter:
A staff who under probation will need to serve 2 weeks or 14 days notice for resignation.

My staff resigned on 20/12/15 but he requested his last day on 31/12 which means short of 2 days.
May I know is the company can deduct 2 days of his salary as compensation for his short notice?

Yes, you can do that but let the worker know first to avoid any misunderstanding.
