Dear Mr Siew

A 7 months pregnant woman tendered her resignation beginning of October by giving the company 1 month notice. Therefore, her last working day with the Company will be 31 October. She is due to deliver in December, do we still have to pay for her Maternity benefits ?

The second question would be if she is due at the end of her notice period, do we have to pay her for the maternity benefits ?

She is still entitled to maternity allowance if she delivers in December or at the end of the notice.

But she is no longer an employee of the Company and why do the Company still have to pay for her maternity allowance ? Her salary is more than 5K, does this still apply ?

Since salary is more than 5K, then ignore my earlier reply. It is now up to your company to decide about maternity benefit.

我是孕妇进来这公司之前老板知道我怀孕的,做了三个月现在他不要签confirmation letter 然后如果他突然间要炒我,我在12月就要生孩子了,那我会津贴吗?
