Good day to you.

My company normally will release our staff salary in the end of each month. Just want to know, if there is a staff that has disciplinary issue like always come late to work, absent and etc.
Can I hold his/her salary until 7 of the month as a penalty.

What is the point of do that? Since it is a disciplinary issue, take disciplinary action against the staff if he has not heeded previous written warnings. Holding a domestic inquiry and mete out the necessary penalty as mentioned in Section 14 of the EA.
