Re: Staff under Probation continously took sick leave

Hi there. I have a staff under probation who has been taking MC for more than 10 days. Currently, I assumed she is on MC (she did not inform the management but only another staff who text her).

My question is: a) Must I still pay her for the days that she took MC?
b) Could I terminate her?

She is entitled to 14 days sick leave. There will be no pay after that. It is not advisable to terminate due to sick leave. It may be good to find out from her her problems, sometimes can be due to working conditions or other reasons.
