Re: Refuse to sign confirmation letter

Can the employer terminate the employee for non confirmation stated reason as the employee refuse to sign the confirmation letter? Is this a valid reason to dismiss the employee? Or it is wrongful dismissal?

It really does not matter whether he signs it or not. As long as the employer is satisfied with his performance, he is considered as confirmed irrespective whether he acknowledges the letter or not.. No need to dismiss him. If he is dismissed just on account of that, I think he has reasons to complain.
