I have tendered resignation in June 14. According to the contract, there is a "non competitive clause", which mean within 12 months after the employee resigned, I cannot join a direct or indirect competitor. Otherwise, Company has rights to demand the employee to repay the salary within the restrain period. I would like to seek for your advise, is this valid and applicable according to MALAYSIA labour law? By the way, company is keep delaying the acceptance of my resignation and HR is not responsive at all. It's already 1 and the half month since my resignation. I am very confused and do not know what's next. Appreciate your advice. Thanks a lot.
