Good evening all. According to the laws/authorities, if a company don't have any employment handbook /regulation, for those entitled medical leave, if not taken, is that compulsory for the company to payback in term of money. Thank you.

No, there is no provision in the Employment Act for employers to pay back unused medical leave.

my company does have employee handbook, appointment letter only written employees are able to claim medical leave.

Can employee claim medical leave when he/she visited dentist. In appointment letter it does not write a clause that employees are able to claim the leave.

Please advise. Thank you.
