Re: MY retro termination case

We have a query for the retro termination case, please check and advise accordingly. (no written confirmation requires at this time)

In April 2018 main payroll, employee salary was paid for whole month (April), pay date is 25 April 2018. On 26 April 2018, client informed us that employee terminated on 10th April 2018.

Option 1:
Reprocess April payroll, prepare statutory files and submit April 2018 statutory files to authority as per the employee termination.

Option 2:
Process such termination employee in May and remit the May monthly statutory contributions along with normal employees by 15 June.

As currently, SAP does not allow to reprocess the payroll and make such correction cycle, our preference is option 2, but the client is insisting on option 1, so please confirm which option is align with the legislation and also provide the support document on this.

Consult the SAP provider see anything can be done about it.
