I have an part time employee who has been absent since last Wednesday. No reason is given until we asked. Since this Monday to Wednesday, he also absent without any attempt to inform and that's why we issued a letter indicating job abandonment, if he did not provide a accepted reason. Well, the reason is currently experiencing financial issue and loan is processing. Hence, employee got no money to buy petrol to come to work. Labour law officer advised to conduct domestic inquiry before the termination letter. May i issue a termination letter instead?
