Re: Probation Period can be extend for how long?
Can an employee pn probation be extended for another 3 months / 6 months after having a probation of 6 months + 6 months?
By the way, in our Appointment Letter we have stated that:-
1. You will remain on probation for a period of 6 months from the date of your assumption of duty which may, at the discretion of the company be extended for a further 6 months.
2. The probationary period is solely for the purpose of enabling the company to determine whether you are suitable in all or any particular aspect for comfirmation in your appointment.
Which those 2 items, can we still extend his probation period since his performance is not meet our expectation and meanwhile we only issue him one warning letter and an email to ask for her job report?
In our employee handbook, is stated that after 1 years service employee is entitle for 14 annual leave, but labour law said if company graint employee Annual Leave automatically he is comfirmed rite?
What should be do? can terminate him instand extend probation period?
