1. Hospitalisation or sick leave does not include public holidays.
2. Hospitalisation or sick leave includes rest days like Saturday and Sunday.

Further clarification on Hospitalisation and Medical Leave (MC) deduct from staff entitlement.

For example, no Public Holiday in between
A staff works 5 days a week. if this staff admited hospital from Monday and discharge from hospital following Monday; doctor give another 1 week MC and only back to work another following week i.e. Wednesday.

So, the hospitalisation leave entitment is 8 days (discharge on Monday count in)?
Medical leave is 6 days (start from Tuesday to folliwng week Tuesday but exclude Saturday and Sunday)? Or 8 days also.

Thanks,
