Hi Siew,

If a staff worked for one year plus but yet no confirmation letter issued to him and no specified Extension of Probation Letter issued as well. The staff had tendered his resignation letter and he still having balance of 5 days Annual Leave. We will pay him back the Annual Leave Pay. My question is:

the staff is giving short notice. The Compesation on the short notice should based on probation (1 Week) or confirmation (1 Month)?

Since he has not been confirmed, it should be 1 week if that was stated in the appointment letter to be so.
