Dear Siew,

A staff claimed OT from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. He went out to dinner / others from 6:00pm - 7:00 pm. Can i deduct the said one hour OT.

You cant deduct the said one hour, but you need not to pay for the said one hour because during that time the staff is not doing their job. OT means DOING work on extra time other than normal working hours.

hi..good day..im a nurse my hospital allow us to work o.t but they always delay the payment my o.t payment since month of may until now oct i never recieve.do i have the rigth to complain in labour dept?if yes where and how?or i dont have the rigth to complain coz im still recieving the basic salary on time?pls help me.thanks
