Re: Company Staff Handbook

Is company handbook written in mandarin recognised? All the terms and conditions for staff benefit never translate into english version. Can the company handbook treat as rules and regulations for staff?

Although there is no law to say company handbooks should be written in any particular language but it is quite useless to have a handbook that is not understood by the staff or some of the staff. What they can do is the employer should explain to those in language that is understood by them if the company cannot afford to have it translated in English or other languages.
