Re: pregnancy new staff

1 of my staff just join us about 1 week, and told me that she was pregnant for 3 months++. she still under probation period. can we terminate her due to she never inform us during interview?

In the job application form questionnaire was there a question requiring female candidate to declare whether she is married/pregnant or not? Was she specifically asked whether she was pregnant or not? Was she warned about the consequences of giving false declaration? All these must be considered before you can think of what you intend to do.

in the job application form is stated she is single. and we didn't ask about pregnant issue.

she said didn't notice she was pregnant. 2 days before join us only know this. according to Labour Law we can't do anything on her right?

yes we did. she insist to be single mother.
