Dear KL Siew,

i would like to know does the medical benefit (example medical claim per year) is it governed by the employment act ? Can i reject a medical bill claim of RM400 (RM600 per year per employee) if i knew that the employee planned to resign soon.

The Employment Act has no provision for medical claims. But without clear written policy to do that, it looks like sort of cheap skate for the company to do that, isn't it just for that reason?
