Re: absence but informed

i was sick but i did not visit doctor to get mc due to spinning headache. i took actifast & rest. i informed my mgr on duty . upon returning to work next day , i was told by that a warning letter will be issued to me due to fail to produce mc chit.
does it warrant a warning letter. ? this is my first time i did not get mc fr doctor.

If you cannot get a mc you will have to apply for leave to cover that day of absence.

There is nothing to say they cannot do that. If they keep quiet, things can get out of control and others may do the same by phoning up with all sorts of excuses for not coming to work (I don't mean you, you case may be genuine). They have to maintain discipline.
