my company did a stock check recently and found that there were some stock lost during the month that I was working, can my company deduct my salary for the lost of items in the shop?

I don't what was going on actually. However, if you think the deduction is not reasonable, you better complain .to the Labour Department.

It is illegal for your employer to deduct your wages for discrepancy in inventory.
The management should investigate the case further to determine the causes for the loss and implement preventive measures so that such discrepancies do not occur in the future.
If the management does deduct your salary, go to the nearest Labour Office and file a compliant.
