Dear Sirs,

My employer do not have the regulation of unpaid leave, so how to control unpaid leave, is there any maximum unpaid leave per year under EA or IR Act?

There is no such regulation for unpaid leave. However, taking unpaid leave too often should be strictly discouraged.

i have taken my unpaid leave for 1 month after my maternity leave to take care my premature baby (1 kg ). Actually i have a bond with my company for 5 years, i need to give my compulsary service to my campany for 5 years. Is the unpaid levave not counted as part of the bond?
