I started work in April 2010 and on probation for 6 months and my contract states that my annual leave is 14 days per year of service. According to our company regulation, I will only be entitled to 7 days of annual leave (entitlement period Oct -i.e. after probation, to March 2011). That is, from April to Sept (during probation) no annual leave entitlement is taken in account. Is this correct.

Annual leave entitlement should be calculated from date of joining and not from date of confirmation.
