Re: Resignation Acknowledgement

Dear Mr Siew,

I had tendered my resignation with one month notice and with some outstanding annual leave. When I enquire about the acknowledgement.1 week later, the management reply verbally that it is not the company practice.
Would like to know is the employer obligated to officially acknowledge a resignation letter from the employer by stating the balance of leave available and also the last day of work after deducting the outstanding leave?

There is no need for acknowledgment . As for leave, you have to apply to take it before you leave.
