Re: Lay-Off benefits
Just want to ask,
1) if a staff who monthly salary is more than RM1,500, for example RM3,000, does the Company need to pay lay-off benefits in accordance to the Employment Regulation 1980 (Termination & Lay-off benefits) to the staff?
2) If yes, if the staff has been working for 6 years, (20 days wage for every year of service) is the calculation based on last drawn salary? As the starting salary is lower than current and has yearly increment.
