Re: Annual Leave for Staff who has resigned
Dear Mr Siew,
I have received a staff resignation dated 8 July. He will be serving his full 1-month notice required hence his last day will be on 7th August.
Leave entitlement at my company is only given after completing 12 months of service. This staff has joined us on 12 May 2009, hence he completed his one year on 11 May 2010.
How do I calculate his annual leave payable? Do I calculate his leave from
i) 1 January 2010 to 7 August 2010 or
ii) 11 May 2010 to 7 August 2010?
