Re: leave application


My company has our own working calendar. Some Saturdays are working days, and some Saturdays are rest day.

My problem here, one of the staff (managerial level) wants to further study to take-up master. However, she has to attend on EVERY Saturdays till year 2011. She had registered with the University and then issue a letter of leave application informing the Management that she has to take annual leave or unpaid leave on every Saturdays.

Unfortunately, when I approach the CEO, he disallow to accept the application because base on her position and she has to be responsible and to care for her subordinates and others. She didn't about this yet.

What should I do ? Is it right to reject her application ?

Convey CEO's message to her. Let her discuss the situation with the CEO.
