Re: 付钱吗?

公司有位新请的员工,才上班一天,第二天来公司就说不适合,不想做了,我的问题是,那么公司是否需要付他一天的薪水?(他来上班的时候,是有给他一份APPOINTMENT LETTER的,但是他退回没签) 我想知道的是,如果类似这样的情况,来了不多久就离开的,公司是该付薪水的吗?不付的话有没有触犯劳工法令?(老板的意思是,他一点贡献都没有,还浪费了公司资源时间,所以不必付钱。) 请给我知道。谢谢帮忙。

If he is still around, ssk him to write a resignation and he can go. Don't pay him anything. If he has already gone, just treat the matter as close if you don't wish to take action against him.

你的意思是,呈交了辞职信,我需要付他吗?还是,类似这样的来了做几天又不做的情况,根本都不需要付任何的薪水?(即使有一星期之久?)

如果他辭職沒有給任何預先通知就不必發薪水給他。

那么一天两天上班然后来说明不适合的话,这就算有通知对吗?是要付还是不付呢?

I think instead of company paying him, he should pay the company for short notice, since he did not serve full notice after resigning? Of course the company can be kind and choose not to ask him to pay the short notice. Pls advise.
