Hi, i worked as lorry driver in my company , i have been join since Dec 2008. Recently, they accused me steal their product with worth rm10, 000, which i'm not. . They look through the CCTV and customer site couln't find an evidence.
They want to fire me and compensate 1 month salary, and they couldn;t provide me the termination letter just verbally only, is this a right way for them to doing so? Is the compensation is reasonable ?

Then you have the right to complain to the Industrial Relations Department and ask to be given back your job.

if i do not wish to get back the job, do you think i can go to labour law office complain about the compensation? What is the different betwwen IR dept and labour dept?

If you are already sacked and you don't want to ask back your job, then you can make a complain at the Labour Department and claim the one month salary and about 15 days salary for termination benefit and also balance of annual leave pay if any.
