Re: Staff regin without notice
Kindly please let us have your advice on our recent 3 cases of confirmed staff left with short notice / without notice.
Staff resigned in March with notice less than 1-mth. He promised to pay back the co on penalty but he didnt. The Co. holds his last claim but still not enough.
Staff left in end April after we bank in the salary without notice.
Apr 24, 25 off day; Apr 26 & 27 applied unpaid leave; Apr 28-30 not turn up.
Apr 28 Salary paid thru bank.
He returned the co. tools to his colleague but still short of 2 items & 1 item is damaged (5yrs).
The Co. holds his last claim but still not enough.
Staff left in end May after we bank in the salary without notice.
May 22,23 - off day; May 24 - sick w/o MC; May 25,26 outstation works; 27 half day emergency leave; 28-30 off day; 31 - not turn up.
May 28 Salary paid thru bank.
We tried to contact him but unreachable. Info from his colleague that he said, I has resigned & will return the co belongings to other colleague during weekend. I do this same as Case 2, nothing happen or action taken...
As our appointment letter stated "After completion of the probation period, 1-month's notice or 1-month's salary in lieu of notice is required by either side in termination of service. Kindly please advise what action can be taken.
