Re: two weeks notice

hi, i work for this company for around 4months and my boss decided to extend my probation to 6mths
-while probation period, i need to give two weeks notice to resign.
-on 13 jan 2010, i had give my boss my resignation letter and supposing i need to work until end of the month.
-but what happen is suddenly my grandpa is very ill and i decided not to go back to kl to work(i am from penang) bcause need to take care my mom.
-i don't mind on the two weeks' unpaid salary.
-what i wanna ask is will my boss take any legal action if i didn't attend to work in the last two weeks period?

Never mind if he takes action. You can pay when you are asked to pay by the authority like the Labour Department.

Will my future job will be influence? because i am just start to work for few month.. do not wish to get bad record in future.

If you can help it, don't do it too often. Give proper notice when you intend to leave.
