Re: Verbally Resigned And Without Notice

A staff verbally resigned without giving notice and resignation letter. She already work for more than a year. So my boss hold his one month salary. She said her boss did not give her any employment contract, so she should not give any letter nor notice. Now she treatened to report to Labour Dept. Does the employer in the wrong foot by holding her one month pay?

You can put her salary on hold. Let her complain if she wants to.
