HI KL Siew,

I just want to clarify on the the below matter:-

I have been working with the company for more than 5 years and currently I am pregnant for above 36weeks, and my due date is on 28-05-2010. Previously, I have received a transfer letter from my company to transfer to KL main office on 11-01-2010. However, due to my pregnancy,
HR dept have deferred my transfer after my maternity leave.
If i tender my resignation letter a week before i go for my maternity leave, would I still entitle for my maternity leave?

It is possible that the company may not pay you the maternity allowance if you use the maternity leave for notice of resignation. You better discuss properly with the management to avoid misunderstanding.
