Re: start of new job while serving last month
I will start working at new company on 15 June 2010.
I plan to tender my resignation end of May, which means, my last day with my existing firm will be on the last day of June. However, as I have some annual and replacement leave, I plan to request the company to offset it against my last month. As such, I will be able to leave my existing company earlier.
Question: Is this allowable under labor law that I join a new company while I am serving my last month in my existing firm - which is offset against my leave?
