Someone informed me that effective 1/Apr/12, those employee earning less RM2000 is covered under this Act.
Is this means those earn than RM2000 is entitle for unlimited OT as per E.A?
Yes, that's true. Read the
First Schedule of the EA.
how if the company still not follow the first schedule after 1/Apr/12? must the company update their policy to follow the act immediately?

How does a company tolerate with unlimited OT for employee below and above RM2000, especially small companies?
does this mean that the ceiling ot rate will be based on RM2000 even if the employee earns RM2500?
