My friend give a resignation letter to her manager on 30-5-13. According for offer letter over 2 years and less than 5 years should terminate 6 weeks. My friend was working almost 2 years and 9 months, so she actually can leave the company on the middle of July.
When she check with HR department again and again, they delay her last date from middle of July to beginning of Aug, then changed again to the end of Aug. Right now my friend has meeting with HR department today. They say they only received the resign letter on the beginning of July, so my friend only can leave the company on middle of Sept. That is due to manager late 1 month submit the resign letter to HR department so that why last day is middle of Sept and the company has changed the law. (Actually I also do not why my friend the last day is middle of Sept if follow what the HR department say!!!)
Please advice can my friend just leave the company ?
