Re: victim

Dear Pesara Online,

I have been working in this company for close to 1 year but not a confirmed staff yet. Probation period was 6 months. I got the confirmation letter + increment shortly after 6 months. However, the confirmation letter was pulled back a day later. A month after that I have been receiving warning letter after warning letter with false accusations. I have replied to all the warning letters. The letters keep coming in with different reasons (very absurd). I want to seek legal advice. Who should I contact?

I don't think there anything much you can do at the moment until some concrete action has been taken against you like sacking you. Keep a copy of all those letters you have received and they reply you gave. That may show how very absurd as you said. Meanwhile, keep replying and see what follow up action they are going to take.

Thank you for your advise. Can I know which organisation/professional bodies I can get in touch with? I'd like to start building this case.

The Labour Department and the Industrial Relations Department are the departments that deal with employment matters. You can consult them but be aware that they may not be able help you at this juncture.

Can I get a lawyer to help? I got to know that they (my employer) have done this to a few ex staff. They are all willing to join hands and take actions.

Yes, by all means if you can afford it and see what sort of advice the lawyer will give.
