Fannie and the rest,

Please give me your suggestion as well, as my wife was required to transfer from Penang to KL and the reason given by company is company restructuring and they are cutting down marketing staff at Penang, but this is not true, as at the same time they are hiring marketing staff. I suspect the main reason is, they want to change 'new blood' at penang branch and want to get away some staff.

by the way, my wife doesn't have any appointment letter during her 17 year of employement and due to family commitment, she have no choice but resign.

thanks

That's what happening to me, due to some polictical reasons in the company I was transfered without any reasons and I'm half way doing a project. I'm very upset by the management moved. Is there anything I can do or can I have a construtive dismisal here? :(

So unfortunate.

I think it would be better for both of you to bring the matter up with the Labour Department. Discuss the issues in greater with them and get the proper advice. You may claim constructive dismissal if there is bad faith.

If you are really not prepared to move to KL, resign and put in a claim for constructive dismissal and hope for the best. Give a fight at least. Consult a lawyer for legal advice is advisable.

Is it expensive to seek legal advice?
My HR Mgr wrote me an email stating that is now an INSTRUCTION to adhere without any proper transfer letter. Is this wrong and so unfair?
My salary is above RM2500 so I shd go Labour office or IR?

Hi KL

I've been now transfered to another dept and my new boss has been constantly making me work late till pass mid night. Not only that, he's been constantly yelling and humiliating me infront of everyone. Do you think it's wise to resign and put a constructive dismissal claim?

Of coz I'll still seek legal advice, just need your opinion. Really need help here.
