Re: Termination during probation

Hi Sir,

I have employed for one month contract as a admin exec. After one month, i have became permanent employee in my company and need to undergo three month probation period. During this probation, I fall on sick and face some personal matters. This information i already inform to my superior when i was on leave. Thus, I have take total unpaid leave as at today, 21 working days and this leave has been approved my superior. But now, the HR department given me the verbal counselling to improve my work attendance and reduce leave taken. This counselling already documented and i have already acknowleged. Now the management want to terminate me during probation period and the latter of non-confirmation are issued ready.

Question:

What should i do on this matter? please advise on this...

If you have already received the termination letter, bring the matter up with the Labour Department or the Industrial Relations Department. Go there personally.
