Re: Probation

The letter offer stated probation is 6 months and at the discretion the company can extend 3 months.
I have past the 6 months probation, however the direct boss has resigned and the new boss is on board for few days. Can he has the right to extend the probation ? Who has the right to extend ? During the 6 months, there is no evaluation as of I am not performing. In fact, has won recognition as staff of the month. What should I do now?

Well, I think the new boss still has the right to extend your probation if he intends to make sure that you really can perform. Just don't worry so much about confirmation, carry on working as usual to the best of your ability.

You can't tell what they will do. What you can do is to do your best.
