a pregnant women always absent without reason, 1 month maybe 3-5days, what can we do?

verbally warning and letter in writing had been given out, can we give her a last warning letter, if still happen, can we terminate her in anytime???

First let her cover her absence with annual leave, after that no pay leave. I wonder whether it is reasonable to terminate her service due to pregnancy problems.

It would be advisable to talk to her to ask on the frequency of absenteeism. Let her know that her work cannot be finished because of her absenteeism. If she cannot be responsible enough for her work, how can she be responsible to bring up a baby. There are some who have morning sickness and so on and so forth. There are some who would need to rest at home for months upon advise from the doctor. My previous staff had to be admitted 1 month prior to giving birth. During pregnancy, she had a very bad temper and causes high blood pressure. She was also very lazy and sensitive. She used to be that but was more obvious during pregnancy. After 2 months coming back from maternity, she resigned.
