Re: Termination Without DI

One staff were caught stealing Company's asset. He was found guilty by Magistrate Court and served with a fine. We have issued a show cause letter regarding his misconduct and he denied his action in his reply.

Can we terminate him without going through the Domestic Inquiry?

To play safe, DI should be held. The court conviction should serve as good evidence to prove his misconduct. Consult the Industrial Relations Department for an official advice.
