Re: Fraudulent Socso Claim

To whom it may concern,

I would like to know if I can lodge a complaint on behalf of my boss or my boss himself about a recent found fraudulent socso claim in our company. There is an office clerk who did the socso flling and claims for the injured employee (they are husband and wife). I did not give her the authority to do it since her job scope is issuing invoice and billing customers. The time I prohibited her from doing the sosco claim, she was doing the second time compensation claim. When I looked through the docs I found there are two copies of punch card which one of them is falsified, also I went to ask other employees about the injuries, only I knew it wasn't happen during working hour and the injure not caused by working. Besides, the first claim was made aware to my boss and my boss signed it but not the second time. Currently, my boss is furious about this matter and some discipline actions have taken towards them i.e counselling & warning. My boss asked me and the other colleague to investigate the socso claim cases in the company to make sure no one is previously or currently involving in any fraudulent claims. Do I need to inform Perkeso about this matter since it deals with fraudulent claims to stop the second time claiming? If yes, what should I do? Thank you

If you think there is a need for you to do that, you can tip off SOCSO
