Re: Medical Leave entitlement for staff doesn't protected by Employment Act

I have a staff resigned after three months, can I prorate her medical leave entitlement since she is not protected by employment act? If yes, is this calculation correct 3/12 x 14 = 3.5 days?

Well, if there is nothing in the appointment letter or in the company policies to say medical leave can be prorated, I think it is not fair to prorate it now. However, there is nothing to stop you from doing it.
