Re: RESIGNATION NOTICE LESS THAN A MONTH

A staff submitted her resignation on the 3rd April. The appt letter states that notice must be a month. She has a half day leave left, which she is using for 27th Apr. After that she won't be coming in anymore. Just want to confirm her salary calculation : RM1470/30 * 27, or does the company had to pay until 29th. Your advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

She may have to pay indemnity to the company for the short notice from 28/4 to 2/5. If you don;t want to go into that, RM1470/30 * 27 will do.
