Hi Siew,

We are doing Call centre operations. some of my staff' contract have expired. is any term in labour act saying that they must have at least 7 day of break before renewal the contract. if there is no break, what is the consequence?

The problem is if there is no breaks and the renewal continued year after year, that staff might say he has a continuous period of service and thereby entitled to benefits under EA like annual leave, termination benefits etc which vary from the length of service.
