Is there any limit to the no. of days that a company can deduct annual leave of the employees for shut-down?
If the employees are not eligible to attendance allowance for unpaid leave taken, are they still eligible to attendance allowance if unpaid leave is deducted (due to no more balance annual leave) for co.'s shut-down?

I think it would be better for you to consult the Labour Department as more info would be needed about the shut down. Let them looks into the matter.
