Hi Siew,

A show cause and suspension from work letter has been given to staff on missapproprate of money of the company.

The staff did not reply the letter after the dateline.

The company has lodged the police report.

Do we still need to carry out the DI after police report made?

DI and police report are two different matters. At company level, DI should be carried out as miss appropriation of money is serious misconduct. A police case can take a very long time to be finalised. I would suggest you also seek advice from the Industrial Relations Department on this.
